As always, we keep God at the Topspot. In a way every religion keeps God at the Topspot. There was to be a singular omnipotent or all-powerful God with a job to safe-guard the entire world. Whenever we have a difficulty, we pray. We ask Him to solve our problems, find a solution to our ever-increasing problems. We chant mantras, break coconuts, read the Gita, the Bible or the Quran and expect instant solutions. Learned people said: ‘through these sacred books, God is always speaking to us.’ We may be permitted to ask: ‘do you have ears to listen what the God is saying from the topspot?
Sitting securely at an everywhere place called TOPSPOT, God became our much sought-after protective shield i.e., Insurance. All religious & sacred texts inform us the very same thing: There is God at Topspot and He is your insurance! There are innumerable plans of insurance in His insurance manual – The Buddha plan; the Mahavira plan; the Jesus plan; the Lord Balaji plan… so on & so forth. Every member of society has subscribed to one or more of these Insurance plans. Many have changed plans too, for example from the Buddha Nirvana Insurance plan to the Jesus heaven Insurance plan.
Having said the above, God insurance administered from his TOPSPOT mansion, it appears, no longer seems to be working. Everyday man is going downhill. Man’s fall seems unstoppable! No prayer premiums paid are sufficient. The risk of the expenses related to daughter’s marriage, Ill-health, death, dejection and despondency are continuing to haunt man. Further, pre-existing diseases and new chronic diseases are being added by the minute: loans, education, car loans, housing loans… to name a few. God is not in a position to service our insurance needs. He says, you will have to find your own insurance, your own shield of insurance. His omnipotence and grace on us seem to have diminished!
