Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar – 28 September 1929 – 6 February 2022 – was a playback singer, music composer and philanthropist. She is considered as one of the greatest singers of India. Her contribution to the Indian music industry gained her titles such as the “Queen of Melody” & “Nightingale of India”.
Music is like worship to Lata Ji. She did her riyaaz without fail even at the age of 85. Yet, the nightingale did not want to take any risks with her melodious voice. She got her voice insured.
