INSURING ELVIS PRESLEY’S HOME
While the Legend still lives through his music, he would have turned 88 years old on 8th January 2023.
But did you know Elvis apparently never had a life insurance policy?
According to rumours, he was in talks with the Lloyds of London for an insurance policy on his life but ultimately decided not to.
He did, however, have an insurance policy covering his home.
The policy covered the first house Presley purchased at 1034 Audubon Drive in East Memphis, USA.
The policy was made out to Elvis Presley and his parents Vernon and Gladys Presley for $29,250, dated March 12, 1956, from the Commerce Title Guaranty Company in Memphis, Tennessee.
