According to a recent study by an Australian insurance company ‘Compare the market’, Indian drivers are among the worst in the world. The fourth worst, to be precise, and only slightly better than Thailand, Peru and Lebanon which rank first, second and third worst respectively.

This study looks at a range of factors such as road quality, speed limits, road deaths, blood alcohol limits and also road safety topics on social media.

Two metrics which stand out are:

the number of annual road accidents and the resulting deaths is quite high in India.

the enforcement of traffic laws remains lax in India

The countries with the best drivers, you ask? Those are Japan, Netherlands, Norway and Estonia.

Now this is enough reason for you to protect your vehicle from the ever-looming risk of an accident.
